A few weeks ago some of the Imaginism crew had to go on a little trip to Asia for some business but mostly some R&R. It was pretty hard to get things done (I couldn't seem to find fast internet speed anywhere) but had a very memorable time.
Here's some wonderful pics by our talented photographer KEITH.
First we were in Japan (Osaka, Tokyo, Kyoto & Hakoni)
Next was Beijing China
Here's some beautiful pics from Philippines (Manila, Cebu & Bohol)
And ended it off in Hong Kong & Macau before our flight back to Toronto
Here's Kei Acedera with her new friend, the Tarsier. Philippines
A lovely lunch in the Philippines. Don't hate me :)
Here's some more pics from my iPhone. This one is of a painting Kei did on the trip. The background ain't too shabby either (Subic).
Thank you to everyone that made our trip so memorable. It was a pleasure to meet you all.
You're travelling through another dimension. A dimension, not only of sight and sound, but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. Next stop, the Twilight Zone!
Here is a painting I recently finished for the Twilight Zone Tribute show at Gallery 1988 Los Angeles called 'Another Dimension'.
The opening reception is tonight, Thursday May 20th, 7-10pm

This piece is inspired by the feeling and mood of this series, 'The Twilight Zone'. I'll leave the rest for your interpretation..
Here's last Friday's Chiustream drawing. Congrats to Edit Sliacka from Prague for winning my drawing! The challenge was to draw something with a big arm vs something with a big head.
